| Several months ago, I had Bulldog Boatwerks quote a repair on my boat. The mechanic (Chris) told me the job would cost $750.00. and would take 2 days. The job took about 2 weeks. The work was done improperly, there was grease all over my seats, the power lead to the ignition coil was pinched between the head and engine block, the valves were set wrong, I had 3 fuel leaks and the timing and carb adjustments were wrong. When I received my bill, it was for $1,200.00. Management would not adjust the bill saying that it took longer then they thought it would. It took longer because the mechanic was no good and only worked an hour or 2 a day. There were no complications in the job, they just didn't care. I understand that Chris is gone, but management that showed no interest in correcting this is still there. I would urge you to avoid this business and get recommendations from friends and neighbors about a reliable and honest shop to do your work, not Bulldog. | |
